Financial management is crucial to the performance and success of any company. The roles and responsibilities of the Coursera Finance team include accounting, financial reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting, and compliance. Problem solvers at heart, this team works to fuel Coursera’s growth by developing creative solutions in response to accounting and finance challenges.
Coursera is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing Finance team. This role will assist with daily AP operations, such as managing vendor relations, processing/approving invoices, and assisting with month-end close tasks. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who multi-tasks well and can handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in a similar role with knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with Excel and Google Sheets, particularly using advanced functions
Detail oriented and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workflows, ensuring continuity of operations across various functions within Accounts Payable and Expense Management
Serve as a flexible team resource, with the ability to pivot between different AP and T&E responsibilities across U.S. and international subsidiaries as needed
Flexibility with personal schedule to accommodate meetings and collaborate effectively with global team members and stakeholders across various time zones
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area of study
Experience with Netsuite, Coupa, Workday Expenses, Service Now and Egencia

$61,625 - $72,500 USD

$57,800 - $68,000 USD
The range listed above is the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Salary is just one component of Coursera’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for a bonus program and equity in the form of RSUs.
A number of factors are taken into account when determining pay, which includes: job level, location, training/education, business need, skill set, and internal equity.
