AI/ML Software Engineer
Guidehouse is hiring an experienced AI/ML Software Engineer to design and deploy cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning applications for federal clients. This role focuses on end-to-end development of AI solutions, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), conversational agents, and intelligent workflows. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, AI frameworks like LangChain or Haystack, and experience in cloud environments such as AWS. You will collaborate with data scientists, developers, and stakeholders to build scalable, production-grade systems that address complex mission challenges in areas such as search, triage, and automation. This is a full-time, on-site position based in McLean, VA, requiring the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Requirements
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (advanced certifications preferred)
2. 7–10+ years in data compliance, digital governance, or risk-related roles
3. In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, ICH Q8–10)
4. Experience with GxP compliance frameworks and quality systems
5. Familiarity with governance tools like Collibra or Ataccma
6. Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills
7. Proven ability to influence across cross-functional teams
8. Proficiency with data management tools and working in dynamic environments

Responsibilities
1. Improve and enforce data governance frameworks across the PT network
2. Identify and mitigate GMP digital data risks and support audits
3. Align data policies with compliance requirements and monitor adherence
4. Lead the PT Data Integrity Network and foster a culture of data integrity
5. Own and improve key DI QMS elements, ensuring documentation and compliance
6. Provide strategic guidance to the PT Data Office on compliance alignment
7. Serve as the Information Compliance Lead for Pharma Technical
8. Drive continuous improvement while supporting digital transformation efforts
