Analytics Engineer, GTM
OpenAI is looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the Go-To-Market (GTM) team and play a crucial role in driving a data-first culture across sales, marketing, and growth functions. In this role, you’ll embed directly with GTM stakeholders to build trusted data models, operational metrics, and reporting systems that guide strategic decisions. You’ll create scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and tools that empower self-serve analytics while supporting high-impact projects across revenue, pricing, and customer acquisition. This is a high-visibility role that combines deep technical expertise with strong business intuition. Requirements
10+ years in data engineering or analytics roles in dynamic, outcome-driven environments.
Expert-level SQL skills and experience building robust ETL pipelines.
Strong proficiency in Python (or similar) for data analysis and automation.
Hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau or Looker.
Familiarity with modern visualization tools (e.g., Streamlit, Plotly Dash).
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams with clear, actionable insights.
Experience in GTM-related domains such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Growth.
