Associate Director - Physician Revenue Cycle
Guidehouse is seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director - Physician Revenue Cycle to lead healthcare revenue operations in a client-facing role. This position involves overseeing the full spectrum of front and back-end revenue cycle services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and enhancing performance across key metrics. The Associate Director will build and manage client relationships, monitor revenue goals, and implement operational procedures that drive business success. A deep understanding of payer rules, hospital billing systems, and patient access processes is critical. This leadership position offers a fully remote work environment and requires strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills to guide teams and deliver exceptional value to healthcare clients. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably within provider, payor, or outsourced environments.

Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years relevant experience (or Associate’s + 12 years)
2. Experience in healthcare provider, payor, CBO, or outsourced RCM environment
3. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
4. Deep knowledge of government and commercial payer billing processes
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
6. Degree in finance, accounting, or healthcare preferred
7. Experience in pediatric revenue cycle operations is a plus

Responsibilities
1. Lead revenue cycle operations and guide client success
2. Serve as a client liaison and manage performance reports
3. Monitor revenue, metrics, and financial performance
4. Develop and present statistical analyses for leadership
5. Ensure regulatory compliance (Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, etc.)
6. Review patient admissions for eligibility and benefits
7. Maintain accurate documentation of patient responsibilities
8. Develop operational procedures for Patient Access functions
9. Drive performance in quality, productivity, and KPIs
10. Foster a culture of communication, trust, and teamwork
