Academic Qualifications
• A PhD in Education or a closely related discipline is required.
Teaching and Supervision Experience
• Proven experience teaching postgraduate taught modules (MA and EdD), particularly in areas related to international higher education.
• Demonstrated experience supervising PhD, EdD, and Master’s level students.
Subject Knowledge and Additional Experience
• Strong understanding of international education and educational leadership.
• Experience teaching undergraduate students is highly desirable.
Appointment Level
• The role will be appointed at the Associate Professor level, depending on the candidate’s prior academic experience and current academic rank.

Academic Teaching and Programme Delivery
• Join the School of Education and English (EDEN) as a highly motivated and experienced academic with a strong commitment to teaching and an established research profile in comparative and international education.
• Contribute to teaching, supervision, and curriculum development for the MA International Higher Education postgraduate taught programmes.
• Deliver teaching on the Doctor of Education (EdD) programme and supervise students enrolled in the EdD and PhD programmes.
Research and Scholarly Activity
• Lead and participate in collaborative research projects within the field of comparative and international education.
• Conduct ongoing original research and publish high-quality scholarly work in relevant academic journals.
