Capita Public Service is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join its Growth team and spearhead new business opportunities within the Fire and Rescue and Blue Light Services sectors. This pivotal role focuses on driving year-on-year profitable growth by identifying, nurturing, and securing high-value opportunities across Capita Public Services. Requirements
1. Proven experience managing a sales pipeline, forecasting accurately, and meeting revenue targets.
2. Strong ability to use data and insights to inform sales strategy and decision-making.
3. Skilled at building trusted relationships with customers across multiple agencies.
4. Commercially astute with experience in qualifying leads and structuring service offerings.
5. Proficient in Salesforce and business development best practices (account planning, risk control, reporting).
6. (Desirable) Experience selling into Fire and Rescue or Blue Light Services sectors, or a strong interest in these areas.
