Samsung is seeking a dynamic, disciplined, resilient and results-oriented Channel Sales Manager to manage our relationship with CDW, one of Samsung’s most critical channel partners in the US enterprise market. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in channel sales and partner management, a strong understanding of the CDW ecosystem, and a proven ability to drive exponential growth.
Requirements
Channel Experience with a focus on Display Products (Professional, Hospitality, Desktop, Direct View LED) and Display Software Solutions (Display Content Management, Remote Management Solutions).
Experienced in sales operations, sell-through analytics, and executive level partner engagement
Experience using with CRM software (SalesForce.com preferred).
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and extensive experience in development and delivery of presentation materials.
Ability to interact at all levels within Samsung and the CDW organization.
The ability to negotiate in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer, partner, leadership and vendors with opposing views to accept/approve programs and proposals.
The ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize multiple sales, project and performance objectives
The ability to develop sales and business plans with clearly define metrics to be achieved.
Ability to work in a team environment, working against individual and shared objectives.
The ability to accept tasks and work to resolve problems, when only broad and general guidelines exist
Measure and report on the effectiveness of sales enablement investments.
Pipeline Management and project management working jointly with Tier 3 (End-user sales)/Vertical Teams, Product Management, Marketing, Support Teams as well as Service.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree with 7-9 years of B2B sales experience preferably channel sales.
Physical/Travel Requirements:
Presence at CDW Offices 60% of the time (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or as needed) – Primary Location is Chicago, IL.
Ability to work independently and travel within assigned geographic territory (up to 50% of the time).
Conduct site visits and support events/shows at other CDW offices locally/nationally as needed
