Sanofi is seeking a Clinical Educator (CE) to support patients and healthcare providers (HCPs) across the South Central region (AL, GA, MS, LA, AR, TN) for Tzield, an FDA-approved 14-day infusion therapy for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). The CE plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by delivering in-depth education on the disease state, product administration, and access barriers. Acting as a liaison between internal teams, healthcare providers, home healthcare agencies, and patients, this field-based role ensures personalized, high-touch support from treatment initiation through post-infusion care. The CE also facilitates the Tzield Patient Mentor program and provides in-home and virtual education, helping patients and caregivers understand the treatment process. Success in this role requires a high level of emotional intelligence, a strong understanding of patient services, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to improve outcomes

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Nursing
2. 3–5 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience
3. Prior product launch experience
4. Experience presenting to small and large groups (patients, caregivers, or HCPs)
5. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 60–80% regionally
6. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
7. Technical proficiency in CRM systems and digital platforms
8. Must reside within the South Central territory
Preferred Qualifications:
9. Previous experience in T1D (Certified Diabetes Educator strongly preferred)
10. Experience with IV infusion therapies or field-based clinical/medical roles
11. Knowledge of buy-and-bill therapies and reimbursement models
12. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
13. Understanding of Sanofi products and services in HCP or infusion center settings
14. Familiarity with managed care and patient access programs
