Cybersecurity DevOps Engineer
Description:This position is for a Cyber Software Engineer working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Information Technology (EIT), Corporate Information Security (CIS) – Protect team
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship Required)
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills to both management and technical staff
• Development Background utilizing one or more of the following technologies: Java, C#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript or associated scripting languages.
• Experience with secure software development concepts (e.g., static code analysis, dynamic code analysis, STIG/SRG hardening, etc.)
• Demonstrated Team Player with strong and effective Customer Care skills
Desired Skills:
• Experience utilizing and developing Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Pipelines
• Experience as a Full Stack Engineer working with a variety of languages and architectures.
• Experience deploying container environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher)
• B.S. degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or Information Technology)
• Experience analyzing, decomposing, and allocating security controls into executable security requirements at the system, sub-system, and component level
• Experience with the Agile methodologies (e.g., SAFe, SCRUM, etc.) and Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Requirements gathering, developing technical specification and architecture diagrams.
• ServiceNow integration experience
• Certification credentials (AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or CISSP)
• Information Security related background
• Active Secret (or higher) Security Clearance

Responsibilities
Development & Automation Engineer and Security Analyst responsibilities:
- Implement software features and infrastructure as code in support of backlog requirements
- Perform root cause analysis of system faults, produce detailed report, derive implementation to address faults
- Support use of and implementation of DevOps requirements such as CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Technical testing of significant maintenance / operational / upgrade activities, and process enhancements/updates
This position will involve heavy collaboration and consulting with numerous business area/business unit representatives, with adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct. This will likely require the ability to work flexible hours. A development background, familiarity with cloud-based security tools, automation, DevOps, and full stack engineering coupled with effective verbal and written communication skills and management of priorities and deliverables will be used in the completion of your mission.
While this role is scoped as a Full-Time Telecommute (Remote) role, preference is for geographical proximity to a major Lockheed Martin facility.
