Data Engineering Manager, Research and Portfolio
Sanofi is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team within its R&D Data & AI Products and Platforms Team. You will guide the design and development of robust data pipelines, manage team operations, and oversee the implementation of best practices in data engineering. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
8+ years of data engineering experience, with 1–3+ years in a leadership or team mentoring role.
Proven success in designing and delivering scalable data platforms and pipelines.
Proficient in modern tech stack (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, AWS).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
Experience in pharmaceutical R&D is highly desirable.
Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong business acumen and a product-oriented mindset.
