Director New Product Planning - Oncology
Sanofi is seeking a Director of New Product Planning – Oncology to join its innovative and mission-driven team. This role will support the development and execution of commercial strategies for Sanofi’s early-stage oncology pipeline, from pre-clinical through proof of concept. Reporting to the Head of NPP, you will act as a key commercial liaison across R&D and business development teams, contributing to therapeutic area and disease strategies, market assessments, forecasting, and external opportunity evaluations. The ideal candidate brings strong oncology experience, strategic acumen, and a scientific mindset capable of translating insights into actionable strategies. Based in either Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ, this position offers the opportunity to shape the future of oncology innovation at Sanofi, impacting patients’ lives globally.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MS, or PhD preferred
2. 5–8 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
3. Oncology experience in marketing, forecasting, or strategic roles required
4. Experience in life science consulting or business analytics preferred
5. Strong scientific and strategic thinking capabilities
6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
7. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
8. Proven analytical, organizational, and project management skills
