Enterprise Sales Director
OpenAI is seeking a seasoned Account Director to lead strategic relationships with large enterprise customers. This is a high-impact role for a sales leader with a deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and cloud-based platforms, tasked with driving the adoption and long-term success of OpenAI’s cutting-edge technologies. You’ll manage a focused portfolio of key accounts, guiding them through their AI transformation journeys—from initial interest to successful deployment and growth. Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, research, and GTM teams, you’ll be the primary force behind building strategic value for major organizations using OpenAI’s APIs and models. This role demands vision, technical fluency, and a proven ability to execute complex deal strategies. Requirements
12+ years in SaaS/PaaS enterprise sales roles.
Proven success with $2M+ annual revenue targets for 3+ years.
Experience with large, complex deal structures and negotiations.
Strong relationships with C-level enterprise stakeholders.
Technical fluency and ability to translate AI capabilities to business value.
Experience leading customer-facing events and executive briefings.
Strong market analysis, strategy, and forecasting skills.
Startup or high-growth company experience preferred.
Passion or deep curiosity for AI, technology, and innovation.
