Front Desk Receptionist
Capita is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join the Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) team in Coventry. As the first and last point of contact for visitors, you will play a vital role in ensuring a warm, welcoming experience for all claimants, companions, and staff. The role includes a balance of face-to-face engagement (approx. 70%) and administrative tasks such as managing appointments, updating systems, producing documentation, and supporting health & safety processes. You'll also be responsible for maintaining high venue standards and helping claimants navigate their visit. This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 4:45pm (37.5 hours per week).

Requirements
1. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (face-to-face).
2. Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook and CRM systems.
4. Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Friendly, professional, and customer service-oriented attitude.
7. Ability to work independently without supervision.
8. Willingness to attend training and development courses.
9. Good local area knowledge (transport routes, parking, etc.).
10. Punctual, attentive, and approachable demeanour.

Responsibilities
1. Greet and assist visitors in a warm and professional manner.
2. Manage appointments and rescheduling via CRM/PRS.
3. Open, close, and secure the venue.
4. Verify visitor identities and manage door entry.
5. Direct claimants and provide accurate venue information.
6. Perform general administrative tasks including data entry and documentation.
7. Maintain venue supplies and professional standards.
8. Ensure health & safety compliance using CASPER system.
9. Provide travel and location information to claimants.
10. Support the strategic development of the business through excellent service.
