Head of U.S. Reimbursement and Public Policy
Sanofi is seeking a visionary Head of U.S. Reimbursement and Public Policy to lead its policy agenda and reimbursement strategies across federal and state levels. This senior executive will direct a high-impact team and shape policy frameworks that ensure patient access, drive sustainable innovation, and support commercial success across Sanofi’s portfolio. The role requires deep expertise in U.S. healthcare policy and the ability to translate evolving legislation and regulation into proactive business strategies. Acting as both an internal advisor and external advocate, you will engage key stakeholders including government agencies (CMS, HHS), trade associations, and internal partners across market access, legal, R&D, and global policy. This is a unique leadership opportunity to influence the future of healthcare policy while advancing equitable access to transformative therapies.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
2. 12-15 years in U.S. healthcare policy, market access, or reimbursement strategy
3. Experience within biopharma, government, or policy advocacy organizations
4. Strong expertise in CMS and federal/state reimbursement policy
5. Proven track record of influencing complex policy environments
6. Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional, diverse teams
7. Excellent communication, relationship management, and strategic thinking
8. Ability to work in a global matrixed organization
9. Familiarity with commercialization and forecasting implications of policy
10. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (20 to 30%)
