[Hiring] Data Privacy Manager
Data Privacy Manager (DPM), is responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of our privacy policies and procedures across Capita. The DPM works closely with the DPO and Deputy DPO (DDPO) to ensure that our data protection practices are compliant with relevant data protection laws and regulations and employees are made aware of privacy policies and procedures.

- The Data Privacy Manager (DPM) is responsible for creating and overseeing the implementation of privacy policies and procedures across Capita.
- Works closely with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Deputy DPO (DDPO) to ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
- Ensures employees are aware of privacy policies and procedures.
- Supports the DPO/DDPO in the implementation of privacy projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience in privacy policy development and implementation.
- Ability to advise on privacy-related matters such as DPIAs and privacy-by-design.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Legal, Risk & Compliance).
- Capability to conduct training and develop awareness materials.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement privacy policies and procedures aligned with legal and organizational standards.
- Monitor compliance with evolving data protection laws and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Advise on risk assessments, DPIAs, and privacy-by-design principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective policy implementation.
- Provide guidance on best practices for handling personal data.
- Conduct privacy training and awareness activities across the organization.
- Assist teams with processing individual rights requests and resolving complaints.
- Analyze, investigate, and report privacy incidents.
- Fulfill Subject Access Requests as needed.
- Monitor the Divisional Mailbox for privacy-related communications.
