Full Time Mid-Level Software Engineering

As the Digital Sustainment & Analytics (DSA) Software Engineer the selected candidate will be a part of our Digital Tools & Engineering organization on the cutting edge of modernization, AI/ML, modeling and advanced analytics & forecasting tools used across our organization and business/customer bases.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, MATLAB, C++ or other SW coding languages
• Software development experience, with military/defense application
• Experience with optimization models, Machine learning and/or data mining techniques
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
• Data Science experience and understanding as it pertains to modeling and analytics
• Written and oral communication to leadership experience
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (GIT, JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Cyber assurance and coding practices understanding/experience
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:Secret

Responsibilities

The candidate will be primarily responsible for
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines and program personnel
• Participate in cross-functional process improvement meetings
• Stay up to date on emerging software and IT technologies and tools
• Be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and data ecosystem, including design, coding, and testing
• Design, test and fielding tools across multiple customer bases
