Inside Sales Account Manager, Enterprise Sales - Germany
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by executing NETGEAR’s sales strategy across assigned reseller accounts in the German channel. This internal sales role is focused on building strong relationships with channel partners and distributors, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer engagement.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Germany VAR team in the region in order to execute the sales strategy with accounts. The role of Internal Sales Account Manager sits within NETGEAR VAR sales organization and is responsible for reseller accounts. Key external relationships are local Distribution and Channel partners.
This role is a hybrid role, expected to be on site 2 days a week in our Munich office.
Requirements
5+ years in IT infrastructure sales in a channel sales role for a vendor or distributor.
Experience working with channel partners is essential.
Worked on project solution opportunities with channel partners.
Proven success in working with channel partners and winning end-user opportunities.
Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling to engage partner lists.
Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Tableau and Salesforce is a plus.
Fluent in German and English (C1 level or higher).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Dynamic personality with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
Solid understanding of vendor-partner collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for technology and networking products.
Technical certifications for networking, cloud or data center solutions.
Additional language skills (preferably Eastern European languages).
Advanced Excel skills.
Additional Requirements
The role is 90% office/home office based. Travel will be required to approx. 10% of the time for trade shows, partner events or other important meetings – from joint calls to integrators and end-customers with the partners, to generating awareness/ preference/ leads at trade shows, to working the corridors of influence at the partner’s offices to drive integration of NETGEAR products as part of the channel partner’s solution offering.

Responsibilities
Achieve quarterly and annual quotas
Plan and prioritize sales calls and customer contact towards maximizing sales and achieving agreed business objectives.
Develop and leverage a presence within pre-defined channel accounts
Identify, develop and lead sales opportunities at both reseller and end user
Regular reporting and forecasting
Manage product, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
Use customer and prospect contact activities, tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems
Respond to all sales enquiries by telephone and email
Identify the key partners and develop NETGEAR business with them
Recruit and develop the reseller channel
Assist Partners on the phone and email to spot and close projects
Implement channel partner program and promotions
Build and maintain strong product knowledge to increase sales effectiveness.
