Requirements
To succeed in this job,you must be a leader and has wjhat it will take to make your team grow. You have to be really good at making logistics operations run smoothly. It is also important to look for ways to improve things. You must be able to communicate with others care about safety and doing things the right way and know how to use systems that manage warehouses. It is a plus if you have used SAP before. The site is going through changes because we are building a new production line so you need to be able to adapt to new things and take action before problems happen. This means you have to be flexible and willing to make changes.
Responsibilities
You will be in charge of a team as the Logistics Team Leader.
You will have up to 28 people working under youand with a Logistics Team Leader reporting to the Logistics Manager. The Logistics Team Leader and the team will work in the Taw Valley areas where things are dispatched. The Logistics Team Leader is a role and you will be responsible, for the team.
You will work at the site from Monday to Friday. This will be, for 37.5 hours every week. Your job is to manage the full site logistics process. The site logistics process includes getting goods into the site and managing the warehouse. It also includes packing products putting them on pallets and loading them. You have to make sure all of these things happen smoothly and safely. The site logistics process has to be efficient.
You will make sure that safety and quality and compliance are really important, at our site. You will work closely with departments to help us meet our goals and stay on budget. Your leadership is very important to help our team do a job and keep getting better. The safety and quality and compliance of our site will be your focus. You will help our team be strong and able to handle problems. You will support us as we try to continuously improve the safety and quality and compliance of our site.
Lead quarterly projects aligned with the site’s business objectives, actively contributing to ongoing process improvements and operational excellence.
