About the team
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team or the RME team makes sure our equipment works well. The RME team is a group of people who're good with technology and we all work together as a team. We have team members and they are led by people who know what they are doing. The RME team takes care of the equipment. Fixes it when it is broken at all of our centres around the world. Some people on the RME team are, in charge. They make sure everyone is working together on new and exciting technology. Some of this technology is only used by Amazon.
Our team does a lot of things for Amazon like putting in machines that package things automatically and taking care of the site. We also fix equipment that helps get things to where they need to go. Our team makes sure the buildings are safe and follow the rules so everyone is protected and our sites can work well.
We have chances to move up and do new things either in the team that takes care of equipment and buildings at Amazon or in other parts of Amazon. This means people who work with us can learn skills and get new jobs, within Amazon.
We do everything to make sure Amazons main sites are always working. This way customers get the things they order on time. Sometimes we work early in the morning or really late at night to fix things without bothering anyone. We even work at night to get everything done. If we think of a way to do something we can try it out and make new ways of doing things. We can even use technology like Amazon Robotics and the Complex Item Sorter to help us. Amazons main goal is to reduce downtime so we focus on that. We want to make sure Amazon runs smoothly and customers are happy with their orders, from Amazon.
The application process will continue on the employer's website.
