Deadline: Not specified
Full Time Senior Strategy & Analysis

The Revenue Analytics team plays a central role in developing and sharing insights into Netflix’s membership and revenue trends and outlook. Our revenue and membership forecasts are crucial inputs into the corporate planning process, resource allocation decisions, and storytelling for internal leaders and external stakeholders. Internally, our analytical insights help inform our growth and monetization strategy.

We are seeking a Manager to join our FS&A team based in Los Gatos. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue Analytics, you will be responsible for supporting Netflix’s global revenue forecast and long-term top-line outlook.

To be successful, you are a self-starter with a keen analytical eye and proven experience as a cross-functional partner. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and can navigate ambiguity. You are a stellar communicator, capable of conveying complex ideas effectively to a broad spectrum of stakeholders (including the highest levels of Netflix leadership).

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and technically savvy. Given the scale and complexity of the data we work with, we blend techniques from finance, data science, and software engineering disciplines to accomplish our goals. We use Python, VS Code, Jupyter, SQL, GitHub, and AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT…) day-to-day, so candidates must be comfortable demonstrating their ability to leverage these tools successfully.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in a highly analytical and quantitative environment (e.g. consulting, strategy & operations, or analytics at a technology company)

Team player with strong interpersonal skills, but also able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience working with subscription-based business models (either consumer or enterprise) is a big plus.

Demonstrated experience in leveraging Python in a finance setting.

Strong proficiency with SQL or other query languages.

Working knowledge or application of statistical forecasting techniques in a finance setting is highly desirable.

Understanding of GAAP related to subscription revenue recognition (e.g. ASC 606, deferred revenue) is required.

Exposure to multiple currency environments and related concepts (e.g. spot rates, hedging) is strongly preferred.

Degree in economics, business, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or other relevant field (or equivalent work experience).
