Manager, Social & Email Sales
Forbes is seeking a Manager, Social Sales & Newsletters to join its AI & Strategic Platforms team. This dynamic role is responsible for driving advertising revenue through social media and newsletter products. You’ll work closely with sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop creative campaign strategies, craft compelling social and newsletter packages, and help bring client activations to life. This includes supporting pre-sale planning, attending live events, liaising with external partners (like LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok), and overseeing programs from pitch to execution. The ideal candidate has experience in the creator economy, a deep understanding of social media trends, and a passion for strategic storytelling. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to shape how brands connect with Forbes’ influential audience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
3–5 years of experience in media sales, digital strategy, or social advertising
Strong grasp of social media trends, platforms, and advertising best practices
Proven experience in the creator economy
Skilled in Excel and Google Drive
Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently
Self-starter with a proactive approach to collaboration

Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales teams to hit quarterly and annual revenue goals through social and newsletter products
Handle daily sales support, including inventory requests and targeting recommendations
Develop and pitch innovative social and newsletter packages tied to Forbes content and events
Represent Forbes in client meetings as a social and newsletter subject matter expert
Work with internal stakeholders across editorial, events, and video teams to activate social programs
Attend live events to ensure proper execution of contracted social deliverables
Manage communication across pre-sale and post-sale workflows
Build relationships with external partners like Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and talent agencies
