Manufacturing Technician
Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS), a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support production of advanced memory chips and logic. This hands-on role involves executing preventative maintenance, performing system calibrations, troubleshooting production issues, monitoring equipment, and ensuring process quality. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to maintain operational efficiency across high-tech manufacturing systems. This position demands strong communication, a high level of technical aptitude, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site role at our state-of-the-art Austin, Texas facility. Requirements
1. 2-year technical certification (e.g. TTI, ITT, HVAC, Trade Cert), or
3+ ASE certifications, or
4 years Semiconductor Technician experience, or
4 years equivalent technical military service
2. Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) methods
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
4. Ability to learn new systems and adapt to process changes quickly
5. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
6. High attention to detail and adherence to SOPs
7. Willingness to work off-hours or shifts as needed
8. Electro-mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools, pneumatics, and basic electrical knowledge
9. Reliable and punctual attendance
