Physical Training Instructor
Capita's Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP) is seeking a dedicated Physical Training Instructor/Assessor to guide candidates through a structured assessment process for the British Army. Based on-site in Penicuik, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals perform at their best by creating a calm, supportive, and professional testing environment. This hands-on role involves conducting both physical and psychometric assessments, coaching physical activities, and promoting wellbeing through advice on fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring fair and consistent candidate evaluations while also maintaining your own professional development. The role includes working one weekend per month and one weekly overnight on-call/chaperone duty. You’ll work within a team passionate about improving the recruitment experience for Regular and Reserve Army candidates.

Requirements
1. CVQ Level 2 Physical Training qualification
2. Confident instructor and capable physical coach
3. Strong interpersonal skills and candidate support mindset
4. Full UK Driving Licence
5. First Aid trained (desirable)
6. Familiarity with Army Careers is an added advantage
