Principal Software Developer - 48650
OpenText is hiring a Principal Software Developer to help lead the development of the Magellan Analytics platform, which is a scalable, enterprise-grade solution that delivers secure, actionable insights across massive datasets. In this senior-level role, you’ll drive multi-team initiatives, shape architectural direction, and ensure product excellence in a platform that serves mission-critical reporting needs across industries. Requirements
7+ years of commercial product development experience (or BSCS with equivalent experience)
8+ years of expert-level Java programming experience
Strong skills in algorithm design, data structures, and design patterns
RDBMS experience with at least one: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, or DB2
Experience with Eclipse and Visual Studio development environments
Experience with at least one application server: Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle WebLogic, or WebSphere
Familiarity with RESTful and/or SOAP APIs
Deep understanding of server internals: multithreading, memory management, scheduling, clustering, load balancing
Experience or knowledge of C++, Hadoop, Hive, MongoDB
CI/CD experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible
Knowledge of business intelligence concepts
