Requirements
Good verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Office
Practical experience of workplace safety auditing or product/environment testing
Practical experience of undertaking risk assessments (safety or environment)
Relevant QESH qualification is essential (NEBOSH – essential / IEMA – desirable)
Working knowledge of SAP is desirable
Strong team player
Ability to problem solve
Previous experience in FMCG and or food / drinks sector
Responsibilities
The Edmonton Operations make a lot of drinks around 50 million cases every year. They have 7 lines where they do the manufacturing. This site is really good at producing drinks it can make up to 142,000 litres of drink every hour. They make kinds of drinks like Bag in Box, PET and Glass bottling.
The Edmonton Operations is the site in Great Britain that makes our Oasis Drinks and Bag in Box. There are a lot of people working here over 250 in areas like Manufacturing and QESH and Engineering and Distribution. If you get experience at the Edmonton Operations it can be really good for your career not at the Edmonton Operations but also at other sites in Great Britain and even in other places, in Europe.
What to expect:
The QESH Coordinator is, in charge of making sure we follow the QESH Management System. This person works under the Safety Manager. They keep an eye on how safe we're when we do our jobs and they work with the Environment Manager to make sure we meet Environmental standards.
Key responsibilities of the QESH Coordinator include:
I will review the way things are done and write a report about it. Then I will give advice to the management team and the operations team. My goal is to make sure we are following the rules for safety and taking care of the environment. I want to make sure that our operations meet the safety and environmental standards. The management team and the operations team will get my report and my advice, on how to do things.
We need to review and make sure that the occupational health assessments and practices are done correctly and follow the rules. This means we have to check that everything related to health is compliant. The occupational health assessments and practices should be looked at carefully to ensure they are meeting the requirements. This is important, for health.
We do audits to make sure our working practices are safe and good quality. We want to minimize the impact on the environment. We also have to meet the CCEP Standards. This is important, for the CCEP Standards. We check our working practices to see if they are safe and meet the CCEP Standards.
Support external auditors with their audit process
Support Safety and Environmental initiatives to ensure compliance and minimise risks
Ensuring the QESH team and site are working efficiently by exploiting new technologies and industry best practice
Sharing best practices with other team members and colleagues to improve customer service, Manufacturing and Distribution compliance and conformance.
Formally train others on site in relevant Safety and Environmental subjects, such as COSHH, Planned EOSH Inspections, Hazard awareness and management of wastes
Promote and coach QESH behaviors across the site, by example and support site teams in pursuit of QESH excellence
