RnD AI Product Engineer
Sanofi is hiring an RnD AI Product Engineer to support its digital transformation in healthcare R&D. As part of the Data & AI Products and Platforms Team, you will build and deploy scalable AI/ML-powered applications that accelerate drug and vaccine development. Working within a cross-functional Agile pod, you’ll be responsible for engineering APIs, endpoints, and user interfaces to bring AI models to life for researchers and scientists. Your role bridges the gap between model development and operational deployment, ensuring the right data flows in and meaningful insights flow out. You'll collaborate with product owners, model developers, and junior engineers, ensuring performance, compliance, and user accessibility. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in AI/ML product engineering or related software roles.
Proven skills in data workflows and pipelines.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Agile methodology experience.
Understanding of R&D business/data environment is a plus.
Technical Qualifications:
Proficient in Python, SQL, Java, Excel, AWS, Snowflake, and Informatica.
Experience with API/endpoint development (Flask, Django, FastAPI).
Knowledge of cloud deployment tools for AI/ML models.
Familiarity with data engineering for AI output consumption.

Responsibilities
Engineer AI/ML product components including APIs, workflows, and UIs.
Collaborate with model development teams to implement outputs.
Design and develop scalable backend and data systems.
Provide feasibility input and resource estimates for product planning.
Optimize data pipelines for reliability and speed.
Share regular updates and risk mitigation plans with product leads.
Lead or support junior engineers in product testing and execution.
