Requirements

With a solid history of successfully leading teams through transformation, you will possess a strong foundation in data strategy and leadership, combined with a enthusiasm for leveraging data to enhance income and engagement.

You will have:

- A proven record of leadership in data, insights, and analytics positions within complex or matrixed organizations.
- Experience in successfully navigating teams and departments through transformation initiatives.
- An in-depth understanding of data strategy, marketing technology frameworks, supporter lifecycle engagement, and performance evaluation.
- A strong grasp of analytical methodologies and techniques, including digital analytics.
- Exceptional communication and influencing abilities, capable of conveying intricate ideas into actionable insights for varied audiences and driving cultural transformation.
- A collaborative and agile approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
- A passion for utilizing data to promote social impact and a dedication to maintaining the highest ethical standards in data usage, aligned with Save the Children’s vision, mission, and values.

Responsibilities

As the Head of Data and Analysis, you will be instrumental in transforming how data and insights influence strategic choices within our Public Impact division. You will oversee the crafting and implementation of an innovative data strategy that fosters agile, insight-driven campaign planning and supporter engagement. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in guiding the team through technological and cultural shifts, promoting collaboration and skill enhancement across diverse teams.

As part of our Public Impact Division and reporting directly to the Director of Public Income & Engagement, you will lead Data and Analysis teams who are eager to leverage data's potential to strengthen supporter engagement, boost income, and provide meaningful, impactful experiences.

In this position, you will:

- Spearhead and execute a transformative data strategy that enhances the role of insights in marketing, engagement, and fundraising efforts.
- Support and guide teams through change, cultivating a culture of innovation, teamwork, and ongoing learning.
- Inspire and manage a high-performing group of data specialists, embedding a collective vision and achieving measurable results.
- Partner with digital, technology, and marketing teams to fully utilize data and supporter insights.
- Transform complex data analyses into straightforward, actionable insights that lead to commercial success and informed strategic decisions.
- Advocate for strong data governance, quality benchmarks, and safeguarding practices to ensure the responsible and ethical use of data.
