The Senior Consultant, Technology Consulting is a leader within the Optum Advisory Service.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in technical analysis, including writing specifications (requirements, user stories) and data mapping documents for Facets or Core Administration system implementation projects
5+ years of experience in technical design and / or business process flow diagrams
5+ years of writing SQL queries and performing analysis
2+ years of external client facing consulting experience at a consulting firm
2+ years of client relationship management experience
Experience working with at least one core administration systems such as Facets, QNXT, Health Rules Payer, Tapestry and knowledge of the data model
Experience leading a project or workstream in an agile environment
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite – Word, PowerPoint, Excel – and Visio
Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and provide solutions
Proven ability to drill down to the root cause of issues and be creative in problem solving
Willingness to travel domestically, up to 25% depending on project requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on at least one end-to-end payer systems and application implementations or migration project
Experience with any / all of the following applications: MS Project, Smartsheet, Service Now, Jira, Rally
Experience working with payer systems and / or applications in a cloud environment
Experience working in and successfully navigating a matrixed environment
Proven to possess analytical reasoning and solution-focus problem solving
Proven ability to participate in cross-functional teams
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
