Senior Recruitment Services Functional Analyst
Capita Public Service is seeking a Service Desk Functional Analyst to help design and implement service operations for a key client transformation programme. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to create an integrated, user-focused Service Desk model. You’ll contribute to service blueprints, process documentation, and operational standards while ensuring alignment with Capita’s service and technology frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to influence service delivery design across people, processes, and technology in a major transformation project. The ideal candidate will bring experience in Service Desk design, shared service environments, and phased service transitions, with strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
1. Proven experience in Service Design and Operating Model development for Service Desks.
2. Background in shared services and multi-party implementation programmes.
3. Understanding of phased service transitions and interim operating models.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience supporting service transition, testing, and operational rollout.
6. Ability to align service design with out-of-the-box ERP or ITSM tools.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
8. (Desirable) Experience with GDS methodology, Oracle Fusion ERP, or WCAG 2.2 standards.

Responsibilities
1. Contribute to Capita’s Service Desk Blueprint and Operating Model.
2. Participate in client and third-party workshops for service integration.
3. Support development of detailed service designs focused on user experience.
4. Provide input to training and testing teams for operational alignment.
5. Present updates in user forums and gather feedback for improvement.
6. Support daily stand-ups and progress reviews for service delivery.
7. Respond to client and third-party queries on service design alignment.
8. Assist in service transition planning, quality assurance, and early operational rollout.
