Senior Stock Administrator
GitLab is looking for a Senior Stock Administrator to oversee and manage its global equity programs across 60+ countries. Reporting to the Senior Director of Stock Administration, this role will play a critical part in the day-to-day operations of equity plans, ensuring compliance with global requirements and maintaining data integrity. You'll manage stock option exercises, ESPP administration, and grant modifications using the Equity Edge Online/E*TRADE platform. In addition to operational duties, you’ll support compliance audits, develop employee training, and provide top-tier service to participants at all levels. Requirements
1. 5+ years of experience in stock plan administration at a public, global tech company
2. Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level III
3. Proficient in E*TRADE / Equity Edge Online platform
4. Strong understanding of RSUs, PSUs, stock options, and ESPP
5. Familiar with ASC 718 and SOX compliance
6. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)
7. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
8. Comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative in remote settings
9. Experience with Google Workspace
10. Willingness to learn GitLab tools and workflows

Responsibilities
1. Administer global stock plans, including equity grants, terminations, exercises, and modifications
2. Maintain data accuracy within Equity Edge Online/E*TRADE
3. Support compliance/reporting across 60+ jurisdictions
4. Respond to employee equity-related inquiries
5. Deliver training and create equity education materials
6. Manage ESPP operations and reporting
7. Generate reports for business partners and audits
8. Ensure SOX controls are maintained and documented
9. Identify process improvement opportunities
10. Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times
