Reporting to the Director of Business Strategy Development, The Senior Strategy Manager helps shape business strategy, enhances collaboration, and oversees delivery of critical projects and programs.  Working closely with the Engineering leadership team, this individual's primary responsibility will be to act as an internal business strategy consultant providing expert analytical and strategy support to the Engineering department.

 

Requirements

7+ years in business strategy and enablement, and program management (technology organizations preferred)
Demonstrated expertise in building and managing effective, matrixed relationships across organizations
Proven expertise in managing multiple complex, high-priority projects
Strong financial acumen working with OPEX and CAPEX budgets
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
Advanced interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills including exceptional storytelling and communication skills - verbal, written and visual

Responsibilities

Leadership:

Exceptional executive presence with with proven track record of translating analytical insights into actionable strategies for senior leadership, leveraging sophisticated data visualization and executive-ready deliverables
Lead day-to-day business strategy & enablement activities, managing key strategic projects, executive communications & reporting, and launching new initiatives focused on driving improved engineering efficiency
Align Engineering priorities with broader organizational strategy, implementing best practices and proactively mitigating risks

Strategy & Planning:

Maintain strong knowledge & understanding of the product strategy and roadmap, software engineering industry trends and product & engineering competitive landscape
Support development of annual strategic priorities, an outcome-driven culture, and a clear operating model to align teams
Implement strong governance in developing mature business architecture support models

Strategic Programs:

Provide programmatic leadership and expert guidance on high-priority projects
Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to implement operating practices that prioritize the right initiatives and speed up time to value
Shepherd change management efforts by partnering with key leaders to drive communication strategy and engagement activities
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track progress on critical initiatives
