Senior Technology Specialist
TELUS is seeking a Senior Technology Specialist to join its forward-thinking Fully Managed division. This hybrid role is centered on implementing cutting-edge IT projects that enable clients to evolve their technology infrastructure. You'll lead the deployment of new technologies, manage client communications, troubleshoot implementation issues, and contribute to solution design alongside the vCIO team. With a strong focus on Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking, you will play a crucial role in the client experience. Your ability to operate independently while mentoring junior team members will drive the success of each project. Requirements
1. 3-5 years' experience in IT systems implementation and troubleshooting
2. Degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field
3. Advanced knowledge in Windows Server administration, Microsoft Azure & Office 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Remote Desktop Services, Windows 11 and Network appliances (routers, switches, firewalls)
4. Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills
5. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic setting
6. Project management understanding is a plus

Responsibilities
1. Implement new technologies based on project scope and client needs
2. Communicate and coordinate with clients regarding project expectations
3. Troubleshoot and resolve implementation challenges
4. Review existing IT systems and workflows for improvement
5. Ensure systems meet operational and user requirements
6. Escalate issues appropriately to management
7. Mentor junior technical staff
8. Collaborate with vCIO and technical teams to design and support solutions
