As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to the development of complex, long-term software applications that are instrumental in diagnosing and understanding critical health conditions such as cancer, HIV, and COVID-19. This role involves systems-level software design, development, testing, and performance analysis within a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. You’ll leverage your expertise in cloud computing, distributed systems, and big data to shape scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions. You’ll also play a role in setting project standards, timelines, and strategies, ensuring each milestone aligns with Roche’s mission of accelerating access to personalized healthcare. Requirements
1. BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
2. 4+ years with Python, Angular, C++, object-oriented programming
3. 4+ years in cloud platforms (Kubernetes, networking, orchestration, security, etc.)
4. Experience with distributed systems and real-time systems
5. Big Data experience
6. Proficient in Git/GitHub and CI/CD environments
7. Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system analysis
8. Familiarity with software architecture, modeling, simulation, and performance metrics
9. Google Cloud Platform experience (preferred)
