Responsibilities
We need a Volume & Supply Planning Specialist who's really good at analysing things and keeping everything organised. This person will be in charge of making sure we have the number of new vehicles in the United Kingdom. They have to make sure we sell the amount of vehicles make a good profit and follow all the rules.
The Volume & Supply Planning Specialist will work closely with the Head of Volume & Supply Planning. Together they will come up with plans, for supplying and stocking vehicles. They will figure out how vehicles we need to make each month. They will also try to predict what the factory will be doing in the future including what models, trim and powertrain we will be working with.
The Volume & Supply Planning Specialist will keep an eye on how sensitive our stock's check if we can really register and sell the vehicles and make sure our production matches up with any special offers and product plans that are happening. The job is about managing the things that retailers get, handling purchase orders and shipment information in the SAP system and talking to people, at HME and factories to find out what might go wrong and what chances we have. You will also help when we stop making vehicles introduce new models and make sure, we follow the ZEV rules. At the time you will give regular updates and ideas to help us make the most of the stock we have sell things better and make our operations work smoothly.
We want you to
Develop UK supply and stocking strategies with the Head of Volume & Supply Planning.
Create monthly production requirements, run-down plans, and a five-month factory forecast (DP0).
Track sales sensitivity, stock availability, and feasible registrations/wholesales by model.
Align production with quarterly campaigns, working closely with Incentive and Product teams.
Provide input for the monthly dealer supply bulletin, including ordering mix, backorders, and constraints.
Prepare monthly production order packs and lead monthly production order meetings.
Manage PO and shipment data in SAP to ensure accurate stock availability and lead times.
Implement metrics to monitor build-to-order specifications and influence stock build configurations.
Liaise with HME and factories to ensure optimal stock levels and identify risks and opportunities.
Support effective vehicle run outs and new model launches.
Manage model run-in/out planning to meet regulatory and ZEV mandate requirements.
Coordinate retailer allocation targets to align production with retailer demand.
Monitor sales campaign performance and recommend improvements to achieve wholesale targets.
Provide monthly and ad-hoc reporting to support the wider planning team.
