Requirements

In addition to being a strong people leader who can work at pace and think creatively, candidates should meet the following criteria:
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role within an FMCG environment
• Previous team leadership or management experience is preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

Morrisons is currently offering Warehouse and Logistics Team Manager roles at its Distribution Centre, which operates 24/7 and employs over 1,000 colleagues on-site.
As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and communicating effectively with your team to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all warehouse activities, including goods receiving, order picking, and loading. Drawing on your previous experience managing fast-paced FMCG warehouse or logistics teams, you will focus on leading people and delivering a high level of service to customers.
In line with Morrisons’ purpose-driven approach, the following responsibilities are essential to success in this role:
• Prioritising colleagues by developing talent through coaching, mentoring, and support
• Setting clear performance targets, tracking progress, and implementing improvement plans
• Taking a proactive, solutions-focused approach to operational challenges and continuous improvement
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and taking appropriate action to ensure targets are achieved
