You will craft clear, comprehensive guides that empower thousands of developers to understand and utilize Baseten's tools effectively. This role involves collaborating closely with product, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to create, maintain, and continuously improve developer documentation—from getting started guides to advanced API references. The ideal candidate thrives on turning complex technical concepts into user-friendly content and is passionate about building mental models that accelerate time-to-value for developers. Requirements
1. 2-4 years of technical writing experience, ideally with developer tools or AI/ML products.
2. Exceptional writing skills capable of simplifying complex technical content.
3. Strong technical aptitude to grasp APIs, infrastructure, and developer workflows.
4. Self-motivated, able to independently manage multiple documentation projects.
5. Proficient with documentation platforms, markdown, Git, and developer tooling.
6. Portfolio showcasing clear, effective technical writing.
