Requirements
You should have experience working in a bank
It is a plus if you have experience with credit, accounting or underwriting
You should have experience working with clients or in a client-facing role
You need to be good at sales, presentations and communication
You should be able to analyze things and make decisions
You need to be self-motivated and able to work well with others
You should know how banking works and what commercial banking solutions are available
You need to be able to build strong relationships with clients
You should be able to work well with the Senior Relationship Managers and other teams
You need to be good at solving problems and analyzing things
You should be proficient, in Microsoft and CRM applications
Education:
You need a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
You should know that this is a Certified Role and you will have to follow the rules of the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
Responsibilities
The Associates main job is to help the Senior Relationship Managers take care of the banking and financing needs of Mid-Market clients. This means making sure existing clients are happy and finding commercial banking clients.
The Associate will do things like:
* Build relationships with the Citi network and operational teams
* Help the Senior Relationship Manager with their clients
* Work with the Senior Relationship Managers to make sure clients get service every day
* Go to client meetings with the Senior Relationship Manager and make sure clients have a good experience with Citi
* Make sure new products are set up correctly and clients are signed up properly
* Work with the Relationship Associate to make sure Citi follows the rules when signing up clients
* Build strong relationships with Commercial Banking teams around the world
* Work with product teams to help clients
* Help the Senior Relationship Managers analyze client relationships and make decisions
* Understand how commercial banking works and what solutions Citi offers
* Help the Senior Relationship Managers come up with solutions for clients and prepare for meetings
* Work with teams to make sure clients get the best service possible
* Make good decisions that do not put Citi or its clients at risk
